Coco-esque garments always catch my eye. I’ve already worn this little houndstooth dress many times. It reminds me of one of Dionne’s outfits from the 90s classic Clueless. The shape of it is just perfect, the combination of the pleated skirt hem, the drop waist and the cropped sleeves make such a cute piece! To counteract the super short length, I’ve worn a mini skort underneath; bike shorts will also work. Other ways I style this is with over the knee socks or stockings.

S2′s Tea & Conversation on Saturday was an event to support breast cancer and all of those affected by it. Many local businesses teamed up to provide a wonderful high tea for the guests. The afternoon aimed at helping rebuild any self-confidence that may have been lost by victims of breast cancer. Hair stylist Julie Dowding from Wisp Studio was there to give advice to all guests, including women who are about to or have lost hair due to chemotherapy. Makeup artists Simone Cohen of SC Artistry and Lily Inglis, provided makeup tutorials whilst S2 stylists (including myself) provided styling tips. The afternoon was an absolute success and part proceeds of all sales were donated to breast cancer research via the Ladybird Foundation. Many thanks to all of the generous supporters Wisp Studio (hair), SC Artistry (makeup), Lamont’s (wine), Metrio & Co (food), Fiorentina (cakes) and Hire Society.

Perth now has its very own ALPHA60 store and I couldn’t be more excited. Located at 69 King Street, the minimal space is now home to all of ALPHA60′s wonderful designs. Whilst having a quick peruse through the racks, I spotted vast amounts of versatile pieces for the winter season. I have always admired ALPHA60′s ability to create highly wearable pieces that you can wear season after season. Thank you to Co-Creative for putting on such a fun night. And thank you to ALPHA60 for the complimentary glitter ankle socks! I’ll be doing an outfit post featuring them very soon.
