It only just occurred to me the other day that I had not bought a fashion magazine in some time. I was in a news-agency trying to buy a newspaper, when I was hit with the old chestnut of not having enough cash, and having to make up the remainder to reach the minimum amount to use your card. Instinctively, I went straight to the magazine section. Their selection was dire, but luckily they had RUSSH, an old faithful. I’m so happy I bought it because in there was this editorial. I know it is quite simple, but I love how clean and polished it is. It really is just about the looks, and the styling is perfect! Each look isn’t too overdone and the colours work so harmoniously together. It is quite inspiring.

Have you ever pulled out a seasons old item of clothing from the woodwork and loved it more than you did when you first bought it? This is what happened with this Y’s shirt. I bought it more than a year ago and wore it only a couple of times before deciding it was slightly too Edwardian. It had been in my closet unworn ever since. I only just recently decided I like it again. I began playing around with different ways of wearing it, and so far, I love it with this pinafore. In fact I love the pinafore shape, but because of my frame and depending on what I wear it with I can tend to look a bit young. But, I think wearing it with the leather biker makes this less so.
My new favourite accessory are these Holly Ryan earrings. Their clean lines are simple and not too overpowering, making them perfect for everyday wear. I have pretty much worn them everyday since I bought them. And my space buns…well I thought it best to wear my hair up to show the full collar. So I decided to have fun with it – I drew inspiration from my favourite Street Fighter character, Chun-Li.
This new backpack by Kelsi Dagger has such a great shape. It is so simple! The combination of its square structure, smooth polished leather and minimal gold accents is just perfect. The backpack also doubles up as a tote bag – so it is multifunctional too.
